Cante y guitarra maintain a cooperative balance that allows expression and enhancement, each taking its moment, but always contributing to the sum of their rendition. Such has been the partnership formed by Jeremías Garcia El Valiente and Irma La Paloma.

Solero Flamenco.  Irma and Jeremías began working together in 2007 and quickly connected with their innate intuition for flamenco and sincere desire to contribute to flamenco's presence as an art form in Houston.  Their ability to collaborate on stage combined with a similar philosophy in the study and approach to the art led them to create Solero Flamenco.

Since its inception in 2009, Solero Flamenco has appeared in numerous festivals and events in both Houston and Dallas.  They have produced two theatrical performances featuring original compositions – “Unidos en Compás” (San Jacinto College-2009) and “Amor Flamenco” (University of Houston-Clear Lake’s 2009-2010 Cultural Arts Series).

Our Vision…

Solero Flamenco presents audiences with professional, energetic, and varied performances through collaboration with artists in the Flamenco community. We hope to provide a setting where performers, students, and aficionados can gather to celebrate the art of Flamenco.

Ultimately, it is our desire to contribute to Flamenco's presence as an art form in Houston through performance and education emphasizing a collaborative spirit.

Let us seek the Flamenco moment within our reach that we may enjoy its impact on our soul. ~ Solero Flamenco, Houston, TX.
